First House Exhibition in Shanghai

V-Air Machines and Boucherie presented successfully between January 14 to 16, 2016 in the Free Trade Zone of Shanghai some of their production machines of toothbrushes and interdental brushes.

The number of visitors exceeded by far the expectations of Boucherie and V-Air Machines. High ranked Company respresentators of the Oral Care business out of six Asiatic States could be welcome. The interest for the presented machines was high (figure 1). The new machines of V-Air Machines for anchor-free toothbrushes with vacuum technology have been in the main focus, but also Boucherie´s proven machine IDM for interdental brushes. The widely distributed TB3 with anchor technique finalized the exhibition.

Fort he first time, the anchor-free tufting machine AVT-S12 of V-Air Machines GmbH was presented to the public, figure 2. This production machine has an output of 32 toothbrush heads per minute, independent on the number of filament bundles: the complete tuft field of the toothbrush is filled every two seconds (exactly: 1.9 seconds) with filaments. This distinguished technique is different to the conventional anchor method, where every tuft is individually and sequentially inserted. Therefore, the AVT-S12 runs slowly and smoothly with lowest wear and tear, lowest spare part requirement and hghest productivity. The AVT-S12 uses filaments which are previously cut to exact lengths and which are already end-rounded. Thus, there is no after-treatment of the toothbrush head by trimming or end-rounding. The large variety of design possibilities for brush heads, with different tuft diameters, tuft forms and stepped filament lengths are explained elesewhere in this website.

The patented ultra-sonic maschine LTC of Boucherie fuses the toothbrush heads (also with tapered filaments), with the toothbrush handle. This fusion is hygienic and the parts can not be separated

The new machine FRM serves for cutting and end-rounding of the filament hanks.

For transparency reasons, the machines have been displayed in their stand-alone versions. Of course, these machines are also offered in different automatic versions. V-Air Machines takes advantage by efficient synergy effects within the Boucherie-Borghi-Gruppe.

Boucherie´s proven machine IDM for interdental brushes, received broad interest. There seems a substantial demand for such interdental brushes in Asia.

The still expanding Asian oral care market demands not only new anchor-free brushes. Many customers require the conventional toothbrushes with anchor technique. Boucherie demonstrated its decades long competence in this field by showing ist popular basic machine TB3. This machine proved its productivity with 1000 tufts per minute even with tapered filaments on this home exhibition, figure 3.

This home exhibition in Shanghai demonstrated the high interest of the visiting customers not only for anchor-free toothbrush production machines of V-Air Machines, but also on-going demand for Boucherie´s machines within the oral care branch. The Asean customers could convince themselves from the funcionality and productivity of the production machines from Boucherie and V-Air Machines.

The presence of the manufacturing Company Borghi Machines Shanghai BMS with the well-known CEO Li Kuang guarantees the Chinese and Asiatic customers a direct, trouble-free, fast and competent contact to Boucherie and V-Air Machines in Europe.
